1 cup bread flour (I prefer King Arthur organic)
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder (Hain Pure Foods has no sodium)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup sour cream (120 mg of sodium total; make sure your sour cream has 15 mg of sodium per two tablespoons or recalculate this total)
1 egg (beaten to use as a wash)
1 teaspoon water
Everything bagel seasoning (Dak’s is sodium free)
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, onion powder and garlic powder
Stir in sour cream and shape into a ball.
Place on floured surface and divide into four equal parts. Roll each part into a 7″ rope and shape rope into a bagel, pinching the ends together and reshaping.
Preheat air fryer to 300 degrees.
Brush the tops of the bagels with egg and sprinkle with everything seasoning.
Air fry bagels for 12 to 15 minutes until golden and allow to cool.
Makes 4 bagels with 30 mg of sodium per bagel.
